The Camden County Teen Arts Festival Is Coming Fri March 20th

2020 Camden County Teen Arts Festival

The Cultural and Heritage Commission at Camden County College is pleased to announce the re-introduction of the Camden County Teen Arts Festival for all Camden County high school students to be held on Friday, March 20, 2020 at Camden County College!

What is the Camden County Teen Arts Festival?

The Camden County Teen Arts Festival presents young people in the county an opportunity to be recognized for their interests in the arts and encourages them to continue their creative work. During the one day event, each student or group receives a critique from a professional artist and has the opportunity to participate in workshops with professionals. All participants are able to display or demonstrate their artistic skills, observe the works of their peers, and learn from professional artists in both a competitive and educational showcase. The winners of the 2020 Camden County Teen Arts Festival qualify to compete in the NJ State Teen Arts Festival from June 2-4, 2020. More information about that event can be found here: www.njteenarts.com
To encourage as many schools in Camden County to participate, the fee for participating in the 2020 Camden County Teen Arts Festival has been graciously waived for this year. Each school will be responsible for their own transportation, so please do not forget to order your busses in a timely manner to ensure your transportation arrangements for March 20th. In addition, we are asking that each student bring their own lunch to the event as food services will not be provided.
For this first year, the adjudicated categories for the Camden County Teen Arts Festival will be limited to the following 11 categories:
  • Poetry
  • Video & Filmmaking
  • 2D Visual Arts
  • 3D Visual Arts
  • Guitar
