The Bullock Family Affair: At The Arts and Music Open House

On Sunday June 9th,  families are welcome to come celebrate the arts at our Arts and Music Open House. (12pm at The Voorhee Art Center &Gallery.) To emphasize that point of family, Bryce Bullock and his father Demitrius Bullock will be sponsoring a table to promote their comic book series Daddy Long Legs and The Inch Worm.

Besides just sponsoring a table they will discuss (along with Maurice Waters from www.BlackScifi.com) the importance of creating your own superheroes (no matter how young or old.)

Here in this video clip taped at The 2019 Glyph Awards Bullock and Son discuss how they came up with Daddy Long Legs and Inch Worm.

This Just In: We Also Will Be Giving Away A Pair of One Day Passes for Wizard World Philly!

SONG BIRD ..CANARY TO PERFORM AT THE A&M OPEN HOUSE JUNE 9TH

On June 9th, The Light Family, The Healthy and Beauty Family and The Arts and Music Family will be meeting for an artistic networking event called The Arts and Music Open House!

This event will be monthly we actually started in Atlantic City.

June 9th's event will take place at the beautiful Voorhees Art Center located inside The Voorhees Mall at 12pm.

One of our featured performers will be the recording artist CANARY (Sha Quanna Thompson.)

The lovely song bird took time out of her busy schedule to answer 5 questions.

Oh and if you can't wait to see her on June 9th, she will be performing at Warm Daddy's in Philly on May 30th!

5 Questions for Canary
Q-How did you get started singing and how long have you been singing?

Well I've been singing since I could speak, really. My voice has always been apart of me.

Q-What do you want your music to say to the listeners?

I'd like my music to "speak volumes." My music is created from pure emotion. There are so many feelings and so many words. If my music could say anything it would be, "I AM food for the Soul!"

Q-How can people find, support and buy your music and book you for gigs?

Support my journey by following me @THECANARYWHITE on IG

Q-Who influenced you?

My pain influences me. Every day comes with growing pains and lessons. It's how you perceive it all.

Q-After May 30th and June 9th...what shows do you have coming up?

Follow me on IG to keep up with upcoming events!!! Peace and Light

THE POWER OF THE POP UP OR....

THIS GUY...

So on a beautiful a Tuesday as God ever made.
The Leadership Studio in Atlantic City is hosting a little shy of a hundred people to discuss AC stories..and we watch one unfold in front of our eyes.

A gentleman that heard Gina Roche singing humbly asked if he could share a song....

His cover of The Kem classic "When Love Calls Your Name" stopped everything on Tennessee Ave.

I hope to see him again but THIS GUY?

I will just say thanks to him and Gina and to the rest of you...
YOU'RE WELCOME

The Sound Of Atlantic City

On Tuesday May 21st , we attended a great Atlantic City Stories event at The Leadership Studio on Tennessee Ave.

It was a pleasant surprise to Gina Roche.

She was gracious enough to speak with us between sets about her life as an artist.

Here's a clip of Gina performing a cover of LIKE A STAR...see and hear why she's an AC Treasure and a gift to the world.
